I had a super super blessed big 2 celebration that lasted for 3 days? I was once again reminded how lucky n blessed I am. Was a bit lazy to do a blog post, BUT the overwhelming love i received gave me the urge to record down my blessings, so that i could thank the ones who mean so much to me and whom i mean so much to.
The day before
Spent the morning of the last day being 19 by myself, with a cup of coffee bean mocha frappe and 《凯特王妃》. Mum introduced me to this book so that i could get a better understanding of uk and also uk education and hopefully this will help me in making my decisions. I love my mum.
Afternoon and night were spent with my fav twins and laoming. :-) Was early and so i went to walk arnd at plaza sin, was planning to go to the 2 must-go shops in plaza sin (the paper market +daiso), when i was only 30 seconds in the paper market, i saw xm walking in and i totally baoxiaoed. + she was holding a box of bk nuggets which is totally just fated (cos last time we met at jp and "chatted over bk nuggets" as well) i know right just damn qiaoz. Then laoming reached and she wanted to meet me at bk before heading to Cathay to meet the yong twins. TADA SURPRISE laoming came with rol singing happy birthday. They handmade a shirt with daisy flowers forming a heart (painted and stitched) and it's so so so pretty and filled with love and i just 舍不得 wear it :') they came together just to pass me this present they made together, was really really touched. Thank u babes even tho the original plan failed ahaha. BTW the shirt has smell of Rol woots.
Then met yongx and hui at Cathay and hui treated WAAAffles at Create waffles, which was finished within 3 minutes cos my friends are gluttons hahaha. And omg super super cute gifts and pretty pop-up card ahhhh :') Caught Amazing Spiderman 2 afterwards which was pretty aMAYzing. Dinner at this ramen place at b1 Cathay, ramen too pepperish and fake jap eggs... But i won't complain becoz the company was gr8. :-) Funny polaroid taking encounters just like the last time in Bugis+. Thank u bbs for taking your time to celebrate my bday even tho your flight was in a few hours time :')
Trained home, bathed n smilied to myself cos the day was beautiful~~~ thinking that the night will end like that, i was wrong. Suddenly there was creepy knocks on the door 10 min before the clock hits 12. First thought: some weird uncle. Second thought: IT MUST BE YOU GUYS. I saw 4 tired kids with a blueberry cheese cake and 5 pink balloons sitting on the floor after i opened the door. Warmz feelz when i saw my weirdest yet loveliest group of friends. This is our/opomou's first midnight surprise ever and they are the ones who always make an attempt to "surprise" each other on birthdays haha tho failing sometimes. Made our way to playgrnd to light candles and make wishes (i hope they come true pretty pls). THEN SURPRRRIIISSEEE, xuan suddenly popped out hahaha. Told my parents abt this midnight surprise the next day cos they were asleep and mama: i'm too touched i want to cry, baba: these are the friends that you should treasure for life my daughter. Moumous, i'm lucky to have you guys.
The day
Ring ring ring "look down from the window pls". omgggggg i saw my beautifooool best friend with 2 balloons and a huge huge card :') Forever blessed to have this girl in my life. When we meet up we dont have to do much we can just sit down somewhere and chat forever.... We had a mini photoshoot downstairs my house and omg so many funny encounters that made us laugh till we cried. (cute cleaner auntie and umbrella auntie ahahaha). "有些友谊既然开始了，就不会结束。从朋友到好朋友到好姐妹，不用说什么彼此都懂." Your letters always make me cry. These 7 years you never fail to write card to me even tho you are my lazy pig, i still remember you writing letters to me to support me for my dance performances. I have the bestest best friend on earth and i'm proud of that. "I love you because the extent and degree of how much i treasure and value you can never be placed solely into words." I love you too laoming.
Afternoon was spent with my shortie. She planned to treat me Korean fried chicken becoz she totally knows what i love but it was closed from 2:30-5 so we had yumz thai food for lunch :) "Anything tastes fabulous when you eat with someone you love." No worries we will have our Korean fried chicken date one day. Then we had mango 雪花冰 at Ion. Time flies SO DAMN fast when im with Rol, felt that we didn't really do anyth and we were only at the first shop of our walkwalk and 5 hours have past liao?? Ohhhh and i'm still thinking about the super chio tote bag Rol. Thank u bb for the super super pretty phototletter :') tho you alrdy spent so much time making the present you still made a card for me i love you darling. It was a family dinner at night, ate at Thai Village fav yuchi place. Shopped a bit and mum bought me a pair of handmade leather shoes. Really love it. Furthermore it's manufactured in Singapore which makes it cooler. Starbucks caramel frap to end the day.. :-)
Thankful to have spent my 20th birthday with my best best friends and my family. Couldn't have imagined a better way to spend the day :') Thank u for the sweet messages and thank u minz and yongx for messaging me even tho you guys were overseas. And friends, thank you so much for your presents and cards. When you get older the more you realise how precious a handmade gift/card is to you. You know how busy your friends are, with work and life changing interviews and other important celebrations and commitments. Yet they took time to make you something becoz they want you to feel a bit more loved. I know i'm very lucky and blessed and sometimes i doubt if i even deserve this much. I will promise to be a better friend and to improve myself as i grow.
The day after
Had driving early in the morn, learnt parallel parking which is pretty interesting. Many steps to rmb, actually loved how challenging it was. Bumped onto curb during my second try so the instructor and I looked at each other and went: OHoh~ Cute uncles are cute. Pls let practice make perfect.
Met xuan at AMK. Was wondering what xuan will be treating me for lunch. Was expecting an atas meal like the usual. And to my greatest greatest surprise, xuan cooked my FAV prawn aglio olio for me :') Which tastes better than any aglio olios i've tried cos there's the taste of love :') This is the first time xuan is cooking and i know how hard it is for someone like him to cook cos he is just not this type????? I truly appreciated it thank u xuan and xuan's friends who were his testers. He had so many times of trial and error to come to this perfect taste :') He had aglio olio for meals everyday for the entire week. Thank u love :') Labixiaoxin and then caught Hall of Shame which was v entertaining.
Back home for dinner with parents, had zichar to celebrate mama's day. :-) Although my mum is really fickle-minded when it comes to deciding which university i should go to, i love her as much cos i know she 舍不得 me and she wants the best for me. It's hard for me, but it's equally hard for her. Everything will be alright one day 船到桥头自然直.

Was still in a happy wappy flappy bday mood cos i met up with 3 vv precious groups of friends today. Trained to Cityhall with charchar who just came back from overseas. She shared her xiamen stories with me and it made me wanna experience it as well. Countryside life is pretty amazing and it offers a different perspective of life. Had a hard time deciding what to eat for lunch cos there were tooooo muuchhhh good food at b1. In the end Boo came and made the decision for us with ease haha. Joo and Sherlyn joined when it was their lunch break :) It has been hard to meet cos of diff work schedules but i'm glad that everyone always tries to make time for each other. Can't wait for our next date~
KTV date with my 408 bbs. Weiwei's 2.20 miscommunication is super
hilarious. All the 10 ppl rooms were taken and we decided to squeeeezee into
the 6 ppl room. It's just so easy to get high w this group. Love how unique we
are, like which class will sing so much chinese songs except for 408????
hahaha. Weiwei hogged the mike, like always. But we were all fine with it. She
finally had the chance to show off her 我是一只小小鸟 after so much practice. And she sang
until she cried ahhaha she was really touched by her own singing, then laoming
cried too followed by jermia hahhaha. Realised how nice 独角戏 is, that one
sentence was soooo catchy. Happy to hear about everyone's super bright futures.
Always knew that 408 is an intelligent class (3rd in level based on results).
408 definitely knows how to STUDY HARD and PLAY HARD. Still remember our class
managed to make it for teachers' day performance and we were even the finale
item, and getting FIRST for GRACES ARMOS and also most creative award, first
for GRACES games competition, also first for NE decorations hahaha too many to
list liao and MODEL CLASS AWARD. Nanyang gave me the best class ever, with
friends that i know i will keep for a lifetime.
Took 174 from Dhoby with laoming and sinlie to Alvin's place. Glad
to see all the 65 army guys ah prd of them for surviving. Lovely steamboat
catch up and then movie session. So much foood and fun and alvin surprised us by
inviting Mr Ng over as well. Mr Ng wasn't just a CT to us he was a friend. It
wasn't awkward at all cos he talked about army stuffs w the guys, then he went
to fetch his wife :-) good husband yea. Alvin's brother andy leong is so so so
cute and chubzz omg was ttly being a pedo he just kept eating and he was v
willing to take selfie with me so cutez. After dinner everyone was super
efficient in clearing up and all 65 girls were totally housewife material pls
(except for jieyun maybe haha). Missed Jeremy's funny chinese "你不是我的女孩子".
